Task: Refine Service Dependencies
A number of dependencies would have been identified during the sales process and the initial phase and key dependencies will have been documented in the contract. The objective of this task is to review the current set of dependencies, including those that are the responsibility of suppliers, to determine whether they are still relevant to the Service Engagement and to assess whether any new dependencies have been identified.
Relationships
Main Description

Once the Service Engagement has started, any dependencies that were not documented in the contract or have since been identified need to be captured. These, along with those dependencies already documented in the contract, must be reviewed to determine their relevance and validity for the Service Engagement.

The Engagement Manager will work with relevant stakeholders to review the dependencies. All dependencies must be assessed to determine their relevance/impact to the Service Engagement and to ensure that appropriate owners, including Client and suppliers, are identified and understand their obligations for managing the dependencies.

All dependencies that the Service Engagement will need to track and manage will be documented in the Dependency Log. The Engagement Manager will monitor and manage the dependencies for the remainder of the Service Engagement.
